Job announcement: Lecturer / Senior Lecturer / Associate Professor in Demography at the Centre for Actuarial Science (CARe), University of Cape Town (South Africa)

 The Centre for Actuarial Research at the University of Cape Town has a particular interest in African and technical demography, population projections incorporating epidemiological dynamics of HIV/AIDS, and indirect estimation of demographic parameters from limited , deficient and defective data. The ideal candidate would share these interests, and would want to be part of, and help build, one of Africa's pre-eminent demographic research institutions. The Centre has a university-funded, tenure-track vacancy for a demographer. The post is being advertised at lecturer, senior lecturer, and associate professor level.
